Cognito is Latin for knowledge. We pride ourselves on continuous learning and a detailed knowledge of hair styling, colouring, care and treatments. Sharing tips on how to maintain healthy hair, aftercare, and achieving the best results is all part of the Cognito Hair experience.

Shareefa Jennings

Senior Stylist

Shareefa began her hairdressing career as an apprentice at the renowned Vidal Sassoons at St Paul’s and Bayswater Academy. She has more than
25 years’ hairdressing experience and is is fascinated by the creativity and science of hair care. Shareefa specialises in Afro and European hair, cutting, colouring and the pioneering nanokeratin smoothing system.

In her free time, Shareefa lives an eco-friendly lifestyle with her son and cat, Popcorn. She enjoys creative writing and song writing, reading, baking, and making her own evening wear.

Anu Ikutiyinu

graduate Stylist

Anu began her hairdressing journey as a curious apprentice in her native Nigeria, before moving to the UK to experience a life-changing moment in our salon. In 2021, Anu visited as a client and impressed us so much she ended up joining the team!

A Level 2 qualified hairdresser, and Level 3 qualified in women’s hairdressing at Hammersmith College as of June 2023. Anu joined the team as a Graduate Stylist in November 2023 and is loving every minute of it. Away from the salon, Anu is a keen singer and loves travelling and trying new foods.
