So, what is the Nanokeratin Recharge Treatment? Simply put, it’s an Express Nanokeratin Treatment for manageability and control to tame unruly, frizzy hair. It’s also an opportunity to test the Nanokeratin Treatment before investing in the whole system. This means you can have it once and never again, with no strings attached! But… We guarantee you that there is no turning back once you have it. Why? Because you never knew your hair could feel so good!
We sense that you are asking yourself, “Is it suitable for my hair type?” If you have European or Caucasian hair, then yes. If you have curly, afro, or mixed-textured hair, well, it really depends on the current condition of your hair, the texture, and your curl pattern. For example, the Nanokeratin Recharge Treatment is unsuitable for 4A – 4C hair types. The treatment is also unsuitable for heavily chemically damaged and heat-damaged hair.
Our Hair Care Experts also have to consider your lifestyle, whether you wear your hair predominantly curly or straight, your current hair care regime, and your ability to care for your hair.
The reason is this: the Nanokeratin Treatment is not a quick fix for unmanageable hair. It’s a repair and restorative treatment to restore the hair to its healthy natural state. However, if the damage is already done, the Nanokeratin Treatment will do nothing but expose the damaged areas of the hair, which inevitably will need to be cut off. Alternatively, another course of action will need to be taken to repair and strengthen the damaged hair.

The Nanokeratin Recharge Treatment is an add-on treatment and should be booked alongside a haircut or a blow-dry. The hair is clarified and detoxed to remove any product build-up or environmental pollutants on the hair and scalp. The hair is then towel-dried and the treatment is applied at the backwash from roots to ends. The treatment is left to process for 30 minutes and then rinsed. The hair is now blow-dried and lightly flat-ironed.
This differs in time and application from the complete Nanokeratin System which has a bespoke application process to cater to individual hair types and hair care needs. This is why the Nanokeratin Recharge Treatment is not suitable for 4A—4C hair textures. Afro hair needs extra time, care, and attention due to it’s fragility.
Unlike the complete Nanokeratin System, which lasts 3 to 6 months, the Nanokeratin Express Treatment only lasts up to 8 weeks. Although you do not need to commit to using the Nanokeratin Aftercare with the Nanokeratin Express Treatment. We advise that you use professional moisture-based, sulfate-free hair care products, to keep the hair in optimum condition so the treatment lasts.
